In this session learn about how to teach coding in your middle school or high school with CodeHS, the most widely used platform for high school computer science. Get a chance to dive in and do your own coding in JavaScript, build your own portfolio web page in HTML and CSS, try out some Python, and learn about how to manage a blended coding classroom. We'll get a chance to do some coding but also learn some tricks for implementing computer science successfully in your school or district. This is sure to be a lively, informative, and engaging session, presented by Jeremy Keeshin, the CEO and co-founder of CodeHS, who has visited over 100 schools nationally for computer science.
