Lending Library, STEM Tools Playground, Vendor Show in S2
Visit our STEM Lending Library playground, meet some of our vendors, and play.  We have Vince, a student from Berkeley, who is showing off Raspberry Pi and Chip, little computers with big possibilities. The Valley View Mouse Squad students will help you figure out different ways to utilize tools from the Lending Library in your own MDUSD classroom. Hayoun will be showing off the laser cutter and some of the fun things we've done with it.  If you have a picture accessible online, you can try engraving a tile or a name tag.

You can also meet some of the College Park FIRST Robotics team members and hear about their newly build robot. They'll be competing with it next month, so we're only looking and not trying it! Hear about our new space, along with our plans for making it amazing.

Easy Coding with Scratch
The ability to code computer programs is an important part of literacy in today’s society. When people learn to code in Scratch, they learn important strategies for solving problems, designing projects, and communicating ideas. Using a set of about 100 commands that can be snapped together visually, you can create just about anything and learn the fundamentals of more advanced languages.
